Do you live on your phone or not even turn it on? Some of my friends (older like me) wouldn’t think of using their phones unless they were out of town. They know how to turn it on but I’m not sure they know how to answer a call. Doing FaceTime is out of the question Text, you’ve got to be kidding.
I text all the time, find email messages are now too slow. Sometimes, I even call people. Sounds a bit cold. Actually, I talk to special people all the time but handle business stuff by text.
My phone is covered with APPS. Funny looking pictures of things I can do on my phone like banking, paying at Starbucks, getting the news, find a location, get a hotel room and on and on. There are probably millions of APPS. Did you know you can date from your phone? Read books? Change your face? Wait a minute! I looked at pictures of my cousin. She looked many years younger. I called her to see if she had her face done. NO! She has an APP that fixes wrinkles. Wow, I don’t need my face fixed, I just need the APP.
I tell all my friends “while you have most of your brain cells, practice using your phone and your APPs” We will need something to do when we are in a “Home” sitting in our rocking chairs. A bunch of old people playing with our APPs. Great picture that is. What a wonderfully humorous greeting card that would make. I think I’ll contact Hallmark.
My friend was golfing recently with two other women. They were discussing the new phone she just bought. My friend mentioned the APPs and one of the women said “What’s an APP?” I bet she won’t get invited to many rocking chair parties.
